MEN TAKE PART IN ONLY WOMEN TOURNAMENTS

Greg Sessler, a 22 years old student from the University of California has just won an only women poker tournament at the Lake Tahoe WSOP circuit. However, Sessler was not the only male player that took part in this competition, as from a total of 96 registered players, four were males.

During the tournament, whose buy in was $340, people cheered and clapped every time one of the male players was eliminated. However, during the final heads up played by Greg Sessler and Mimi Kalem, was Greg the one that obtained the victory. WSOP speakers said that even though those tournaments were aimed at women, there were not any specific rules that recognized that men could not play and therefore they also have the right to play.

The list of players that took part in the final table and the prizes won by each of them are as follows:
-Greg Sessler - $9,932
- Mimi Kalem - $5,308

- Corinn Ignatieff – $3,715
- Candy Alexander – $2,626
- Linda Peverini – $2,100

- Tera Brown – $1,592
- Persia Bonella – $1,229
- Rebecca Burnside – $894

- Rose Erhart – $629
